As each piece is made by hand each one may vary slightly from that shown in the image. I cut and shape each tag, disc, mountain and fell design. No two designs will ever be exactly the same making each piece wonderfully unique.

Each design is photographed using a macro lens which may make some items appear larger than their actual size. Please check sizes before placing your order.

DESCRIPTION

This beautiful handcrafted silver necklace takes its inspiration from The Hundred Year Stone which you will find on the shores of Derwentwater at Calf Close Bay in the Lake District.

This distinctive piece, has been created using Art Silver Clay which allows me to give an organic look and texture and to fully capture the essence of the stone. The design is not meant to be perfect or look machine made!  It will have it's imperfections to reflect the nature of the stone.

It is important to note that 999 Art Silver Clay is a fine silver and has a slightly softer nature than 925 sterling silver.  It is more prone to scratches if not treated with care and it is good practice to not introduce it to any chemicals such a those found in swimming pools, hot tubs and cleaning agents.  If your piece dulls a rub with a jewellery cloth should bring back the shine.
